TfL IM Sourcing Review

The Challenge

Following the IM market testing exercise, TfL decided to commence planning to undertake a SIAM based four tower procurement delivery programme to address its needs. The programme was complex and had a number of interdependencies.

Our Approach

ASE’s responsibilities included:

  • Review and assurance of the IM sourcing strategy, IM business case and IM sourcing delivery project.
  • Production of various IM sourcing delivery project initiation/planning documents concerning how to deliver the procurement including: strategy chart delivery plans and the assessment of the timetable based on different key assumptions concerning the required level of dialogue and phasing of the 4 inter-related procurements; delivery resourcing model; deliverables matrix and template documents; governance and structures; and key commercial and procurement considerations including the identification of the dependencies between the four procurements in scope and related IM.

The Results

  • A package of deliverables to initiate and accelerate project delivery.
  • The identification of risks and issues to be addresses by the project.
